Bernard Kusi pursued accountancy as his initial career. After graduating from Sunyani Polytechnic with Higher National Diploma in Accountancy, he worked as an Accounts officer at Safebond Ghana Limited from 2004 to 2008 in Ghana. He got admission to study International Business Acumen at Haaga-helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland,where he obtained Certificate in International Business Acumen . He then studied diploma in Sales and Customer service at Helsinki Business College, and then obtained Bachelor of Business and Administration in Security Management at Laurea University of Applied Sciences.
He also works as a cashier at HMSHost Finland Oy.
Having acquired a broader knowledge and skills in the field of business and administration, he has decided his professional interest in International Market Research and Business Development.
Christophe Roos started his career as a researcher studying the interaction of genes during germ line stem cell development. Bioinformatics nevertheless followed him since the 80:ies when he tested the first Swissprot database versions and sequence analysis software packages. He initiated bioinformatics training at the University of Helsinki, and later he worked together with Jussi and Jukka on a large IT platform for systems biology.
Christophe has a Master of Science degree in Genetics, in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Helsinki and a PhD in molecular biology from the Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg. He has worked as a lecturer at several universities and authored and co-authored a number of scientific articles in a wide range of journals. He is very well connected and versed in several fields and languages. His specific professional interest is to facilitate translational research through the application of a formalism borrowed from the exact sciences and through a better use of information technology.
Is a Business Development Expert and Agribusiness specialist with over Seventeen years (17) of experience in Strategic Business Development for SMEs and Agricultural Value Chain Management? She is a Marketer with an MBA/ Marketing from University of Cape Coast, Ghana and Post-Graduate Diploma(s) in Pro-Poor value chain development and Project Management from Maastricht School of Management-the Netherlands as well as Agri-Business Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She has effectively designed and implemented training programs for value chain actors engaged in cassava, yam and rice production and processing for both local and international markets and has also coordinated EU pro-poor value chains projects on cassava, yam and rice. These coordination and implementations have often involved basic research, product development activities, quality management, working with rural communities, domestic and industrial end-users, facilitating various meetings and workshops as well as coordination and monitoring of activities between several government and non-governmental institutions and private sector stakeholders to ensure effective delivery on program outputs. Marian develops business diagnostic tools for SMEs’ based on their operational results to focus on profitable products, viable markets, cost reduction and management information systems. She also develops various Business concepts, Strategic Business Plans and Feasibilities for clients to aid them establish their companies. She has undertaken Development Consultancy Assignments over the years from FAO, USAID, AFDB and Exim Bank Ghana in different capacities.
